Srinagar: Several complaints of misbehavior and assault against patients by security guards have come to light at JVC Hospital Srinagar.
Recently, a media official, Mohammad Rafiq Wani, wrote a letter to the hospital director complaining about the “bad behavior” and “fights” of the security guards. He said that the security guards “misbehave” with the patients and “harass” them.
Wani said in his letter that patients already have to deal with their illnesses, and this behavior of the security guards further stresses them. He urged the hospital administration to teach “discipline” to the security guards.
After Wani’s complaint, several other patients and their relatives have also filed similar complaints against the security guards.
The hospital administration has not yet reacted to these complaints.
